Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a right of withdrawal as set out below.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Stenowise, Inhaber Sören Kann, Heidkoppel 20B, 21379 Scharnebeck, Germany, phone: +49 151 47219465, email: kontakt@stenowise.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://stenowise.com/en/withdraw-contract. If you use this online function, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by email) without undue delay, with information on the content of the withdrawal and the date and time it was received.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

Notes on the online function

These notes are not part of the withdrawal policy. They describe how the online function works at Stenowise.

The button "Withdraw from contract" is in the footer of every page on stenowise.com and leads to stenowise.com/en/withdraw-contract. There you enter your name, the contract (Stenowise Pro or your account with Stenowise Free) and the email address of your account and click "Confirm withdrawal". You do not have to give a reason. We send the acknowledgement of receipt to the email address of your account.

If you withdraw from Stenowise Pro, we end Stenowise Pro 48 hours after receipt and then refund all your payments. The acknowledgement of receipt names this time and contains the link "That was not me". With it, the holder of the account can stop a withdrawal that someone else made with their address. The period for the reimbursement set out in the policy is not affected.

If you withdraw from the free contract for your account, we delete your account once you confirm this with the link "Delete account now" in the acknowledgement of receipt. The link is valid for seven days. Without this confirmation the account stays.
